* children's ski race
Expression used here and there by everyone
Noun • Popularised after Norwegian skier Petter Northug won a superior victory at the relay race at the World Championships in Sapporo, 2007. At the finish line, Northug cheered and called the race a 'children's ski race'. This phrase entered Norwegian lingo and became an expression for something being extremely easy, no stress at all, or to achieve something with very little effort.
"Prøven var kjempelett! Barneskirenn!"
"The test was so easy! Children's race!"
